Abstract
At the end of 2019, a novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) had started to spread rapidly and was declared a global pandemic by the World Health Organization in March 2020.1 We aim to illustrate the unusual clinical manifestations of COVID-19 through reporting the case of a child who presented in late 2020 with acute nonspecific abdominal pain associated with a systemic inflammatory response. The child then developed purpuric rashes consistent with Henoch-Schönlein purpura (HSP).
