Abstract
Aim: To increase completion of the Multi-professional Preceptor e-Compendium to 8 per month. The purpose of this project was to ensure that Preceptors are skilled and equipped to conduct their role. By strengthening our Preceptors, it could improve our preceptee’s experience and positively impact on staff retention. Project Impact: • The monthly completion rate increased from 4 to 8 per month. • 100% of nurses and AHPs who completed the Multi Professional Preceptor e-Compendium found it informative and relevant to their role. • 100% of nurses and AHPs felt prepared for the Preceptor role following completion of the training. • Significant increase in completion compared to the previous two years
